ADULT FAITH FORMATION – continues today, led by Pastor Dave, “Angels and Demons: Myths, Misconceptions and Biblical Meaning.” Today our focus turns to the “fallen angels” and the Biblical account of Satan. Adult Faith Formation meets in the Library between worship services, beginning at approximately 10:15.

CHILDREN’S FAITH FORMATION/SUNDAY SCHOOL – for age 3-3rd grade is continuing! Our Faith Formation program is designed for children to be able to drop in any time they happen to be here. Today we finish our learning on the Fruit of the Spirit. Beginning next week, we’ll be taking a Lenten journey that will end with the joyful celebration of Easter.  We’d love to have your child join us!

LENTEN SOUP SUPPERS – Each Wednesday through March 16 a soup supper will be served at 6 pm each Wednesday in the Fellowship Hall. LIGHTING PROJECT UPDATE Progress is being made! The first of the new fixtures are hung in the Sanctuary, and lots of behind the scenes electrical work in underway. The custom-made pendants that are the centerpiece of the project are under construction and expected to be completed and shipped soon. Thanks for your patience during the installation process.

TANZANIA MISSION 2016 ART WALL DISPLAY – The 21-member team heading to Tanzania this July continues to prepare to represent Cross of Christ at the MaaSAE Girls School and with our other mission partners in Africa this summer. The youth members have put together a fun display to help you learn more about those on the team, like their favorite safari animals and hidden talents. Take a look, and please be praying for your Mission Team!

THE NATIONAL ALLIANCE ON MENTAL ILLNESS – is offering a free class at Cross of Christ for to those living with mental illness. Peer-to-Peer is a 10-week class that will meet every Thursday beginning March 3, and ending May 5, from 6:30-8:30 pm. The course is designed to offer an opportunity for growth and help one learn new skills for leading a healthy life. Contact Melissa@nami-eastside.org for more information and to sign up.

SEE THE TULIPS WITH THE LARKS on a Skagit Valley Tulip Tour Thursday, April 14. The tour will leave from Cross of Christ at 8:30 am and return at approximately 6 pm. THE SOPHIA WAY NEEDS BREAKFAST AND LUNCH FOODS – for the weekends such as yogurt, cottage cheese, and string cheese; items to make sandwiches like bread, cheese, sandwich meats, canned tuna, and canned chicken; as well as canned soups.
